The following documents are required for us to process your employment pass:
a) Resume of applicant education, employment history, professional skill or qualification and employment testimonials, if any
b) A copy of the applicant’s educational certificate and past employment testimonials;
c) Copy of the personal particulars page of the applicant’s travel document/passport
We will not require you to send us any original supporting documents. However, for some cases, Ministry of Manpower may require the applicant to furnish further documents or information when the application is still under review.
Note: For non-English certificates or documents, a copy of the original certificates/ documents and the official English translation certified by the respective embassy, must be submitted.
Possessing a recognised qualification does not automatically guarantee a successful EP application, as the applicant may need to satisfy other criteria such as relevant work experience or professional skills. Similarly, an applicant who does not possess a recognised qualification may not necessarily be rejected for EP, if he possesses other compensating factors.
There are three categories of Employment Pass: P1, P2 and Q1 Pass. The P Pass is for foreigners seeking professional, managerial or executive and specialist jobs.
